I ordered more than one item of the same product, why are the pearls different?"

Accepted Answer

Each pearl is made by nature and is therefore different. With a huge variety of shapes, sizes and colour our jewels celebrate the finest nature has to offer. No one in the world will have the exact same pearl as you. Knowing how individual your pearls are makes owning a Jewel from Maison NK even more special.

Do you use cultured pearls in all your jewellery?

Yes. We use the finest nature has to offer for all our exquisite jewellery.

Question 4

Can you tell me about your guarantee?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 6 months craftmanship guarantee which covers failures of craftsmanship. It does not cover wear and tear, neglect or breakage or any other impact caused by handling of the merchandise. This is not a restrictive list and each case will be assessed on a case by case basis. Precious gems and metals are natural products and can wear over time.  The guarantee will not cover:
• Accidental damage (e.g. If the product has been dropped). 
• If the product has been used within a commercial/business environment.
• Cosmetic damage during use (e.g. scratches, marks, dents, plating or coating coming off with use/ rubbing off). 
• Any loss encountered as a result of not being able to use the product (including indirect or consequential loss), or any loss over and above the purchase price of the original item. 
• Cleaning inspecting or servicing of the product. 
• Failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions and/ care guidelines. 
• Intentional or unintentional damage, misuse or neglect of the product. 
• Any defect in, or failure of useage of the product. 
• Any defect of, or caused by, parts not supplied by Maison NK. 
• Normal wear and tear resulting from product use and exposure to the elements.
• Any modification, adjustment, repair, disassembly or maintenance performed by any party other than Maison NK.
• Damage due to any other cause which does not result from a defect in materials and workmanship. 
• Goods bought and used outside the UK. • Products not brought directly from the Maison NK website. Products brought through other means will be covered by the retailers terms.

Are your pearls hand knotted?

Accepted Answer

We hand knot our larger pearls and long ropes of pearls. Please refer to individual designs for exact details.

Why do you have limited quantities on your website?

Accepted Answer

Each jewel is made especially for you. If you require a larger quantity of products contact us at hello@maisonnkjewellery.com. We make all jewels by hand or are hand finished. This process takes time and we do not want excess stock for sustainability purposes. In addition we source exotic pearls, such as coloured pearls which are much more rare and it takes time to ensure these are of exceptional quality for our jewels. If you are interested in a product and its not in stock at present get in contact with us and we will try our best for you.

Are products pictured actual size and look the same?

It is not possible to show the jewellery at actual size and actual colours and other variances as all monitors/ screens vary and so does each pearl. Please read the product information provided for approximate measurements of individual pieces and click on the additional image options (where available) for pictures of the jewellery. If you want more pictures or images, please contact us and we will happy to help and supply you with more images or videos of the jewels.

I am interested in high jewellery and fine jewellery, could you please let me know about purchasing this?"

Any high jewellery or fine jewellery items are intended to be made as a customised unquie work of art, with the majority or our jewels being a 'one-off'. We will start with a no obligation consultation, where we understand what you would like and futher information. We then design the product and you are sent a electronic proof of this, before we start to make the actual product. If you are interested high jewellery or a bespoke product please contact us and we will be able to advise further.
